Aalborg Summary 2008
Work Sessions 9th-10th April 2008
During the second project meeting in Aalborg, Denmark, in April 2008, it was agreed that it would be far easier to create our web pages using Google free space rather than Frontpage, and the materials were uploaded on the first pages of the site www.itseasycomenius.googlepages.com created by the participants in the Aalborg meeting, according to the training led by the host school experts, Tom and Per.
It was agreed that each school's team would continue work on their pages when back home
adding more teacher-friendly ICT-based materials and upload them onto the project site for partners to test them before spreading them among staff members in all schools.
Also, the new project logo was presented by the Silistra school and used on the project Google pages.
After discussion it was confirmed that next project meeting would take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the week 3-7 November 2008. It was suggested that Each school should get to the Sofia meeting with clear ideas regarding the dates of the final meeting.
Participants should also be looking into possible ways for the evaluation of the project results, which will be one major focus in the next year.
Finally, The location of the project final meeting was also discussed. It was agreed that, as all participating countries will have hosted one meeting each by spring 2009, the last meeting would best be held in “neutral” ground, were that possible. It was suggested that the meeting should take place in Italy, but not in Venice.
Antonella said she would explore possible venues, as well as check if such idea was in accordance with the Comenius rules. In case it wasn't, Alvor offered to host the final meeting in Norway.
